Alla Prima painting or Live painting is a form of improvisational performance art in which artists completes a visual art piece in a public performance, often at a bar, music concert, or public event, sometimes accompanied by a DJ or live music. As opposed to a more studied fine art compositions from the same artists, which are generally executed in an artist studio or other private space.
This genre works wonderful on public events as conferences, seminars, motivational speakers, corporate events, etc. While the speaker is developing his/hers spoken material, the artist will simultaneously work in a pre-arranged concept visually. The imagery will be directly related to the speakers/conference theme
